Job Title & Responsibilities
Quality Assurance Officer – Agri. Services
- Ensure the quality and safety of raw agricultural materials (milk, grains, fruits) sourced from Nestlé’s approved suppliers.
- Conduct supplier assessments, audits, and inspections in line with QA standards.
- Monitor supply chain traceability, contamination risks, and pesticide residue control.
- Implement food safety protocols including ISO 22000, HACCP, and Nestlé’s internal standards.
- Train farmers and procurement agents on quality grading, storage, and hygiene.
- Coordinate with field teams, suppliers, and laboratories for timely sample testing and quality checks.
- Maintain QA documentation and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Food Technology, Agricultural Sciences, Dairy Technology, or Microbiology.
- 2–4 years of experience in agri-based quality assurance, preferably in FMCG or food processing sectors.
- Familiarity with farm-level procurement and field-based quality inspections.
Key Skills
- Strong knowledge of food safety, ISO, and HACCP systems.
- Hands-on experience in rural/agri operations and farmer engagement.
- Data-driven mindset with good documentation/reporting practices.
- Team collaboration and training skills.
- Willingness to travel to supplier farms or remote procurement zones.
